FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Newcastle College's New Course

The Newcastle Diploma Course in 'Positive Impact Coaching' is launched this week - FREE to eligible students!

Press Release Dated: 9 March, 2004 --

Newcastle College's Coaching Diploma has been in existence for five years and over 15,000 graduates have enjoyed achieving this accredited (NCFE) flexible learning qualification. The original 'Performance Coaching' course has been fully updated and is launched this week as 'Positive Impact Coaching'. This new course brings the subject up to date with material that is immediately of use to supervisors and managers at work.

The Newcastle course is unique in that it is underpinned by a leading independent body and because the material is highly applicable to practical development by real working people. Not only that, the core skills of coaching are overtly presented - this is quite different from commercial courses that put one-track methodology before principles and underpinning skills. A great deal of new material is included as well as thinking at the forefront of coaching philosophy and practice. The support staff at Newcastle provide excellent help to students and are very experienced, having supported thousands of students over some years.

The course is supported by European funds and eligible students in the UK may undertake the course free of any charge until May 2005. After that fees are just £595 - amazing value for a 13 day Diploma! Now available as web-based resource on an international basis.

The course has been designed by Angus McLeod and he will be running MasterClasses on behalf of the College during 2004.
