FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Angus and The Coaching Academy

Angus gives the guest presentation at the 4th Anniversary Events in Manchester and London

Press Release Dated: 6 September, 2003 --

The Coaching Academy is four years old. To mark this event and its growing commercial success, it is hosting two Anniversary Events for its customers; in Manchester in London. The Coaching Academy provides entry-level coach-training and is the second-biggest coach-training organization in the UK after Newcastle College (with over 15,000 students). Invited by Vicki Espin, Coaching Director, Angus has been asked to challenge their experienced coaches from graduate years 2001-2003. The event is 'invitation only'. The theme of Angus' facilitated presentation concerns the importance of silence as an 'intervention' in advanced coaching and the link between mindsets (or attitude) for coaching and behaviours. These are both over and covert and the undercurrent for the evening supports his theses that the covert aspects of mindset and behaviour are critical in advanced coaching since every coachee has some level of gut-feeling about the coach which will limit or enhance their willingness to work at the highest pace.

The next Coaching Academy induction (September intake) already has 106 participants and reflects the success of Jonathan and his impressive team. Many are referrals from previous graduates.
